Ms. Francis

Hello all! My name is Helen Francis, and I am so excited to be with you this school year. I graduated from The College of Wooster with my Bachelor's in Psychology and Education and Mercer University with a Master's in Elementary Education. I have taught in Atlanta, Georgia for the last four years (one year in 4th grade and four years in 2nd grade). 

I knew since I was in elementary school that I was going to be a teacher. To see my dream come true with hard work and dedication is all I could ask for.  My love for teaching shines through with the strong relationships I build with my students, families, and the school community. I spend a lot of time thinking about my students, what they need to succeed, and how I can best help them navigate academic and social challenges. 

I love reading, bowling with my partner Malik, and working out at Orange Theory in my free time. Another passion of mine includes puzzles of all kinds! I hope to continue to share my story with all of you and learn more about you and your children! I am thrilled to say I am a teacher in the Sonntag community.
