Mrs. Griffin

Hi, my name is Meredith Griffin!

I am so excited to be a part of the second grade team this year. This is my fourteenth year teaching in Frisco ISD, but my fourth year at Sonntag.  I previously taught first grade for eleven years.

I grew up in Coppell, Texas and have lots of family close by.  I am a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce, go Lions. I have a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and I love working with children.

I am married to my husband, John, and we have two children.  Our son, Mason, is a sophomore at Texas Tech.  Our daughter, Emily, who will be 10 in October, is in fifth grade at Sonntag this year.  I am so excited to see her in the hallways throughout the day.

Aside from teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling and working out.  I also enjoy being creative at home with my cricut personalizing shirts, tumblers and other gifts.

My family keeps me quite busy, but nothing can keep me away from teaching Second Grade! I can’t wait to see how much the students grow this school year.   I am so excited to be with you at Sonntag this year! I look forward to working with you.
