Ms. Petty

Hi there! My name is Lindsie Petty and I am so excited to be back here at Shawnee Trail teaching 3rd grade. This is my 16th year in FISD and my 26th year in education. Prior to this year, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade at Shawnee Trail. 

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from the University of Arizona-BEAR DOWN CATS!-with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I also graduated from Lamar University with my Masters degree in Elementary Administration. I live here in Frisco with my daughter Maigan. She attended Shawnee Trail Kindergarten through 5th grade and graduated from Lebanon Trail High School. She will be a sophomore at Texas Tech University this fall and majoring in Elementary Education. WRECK 'EM TECH!

Outside of school, I love hanging out with my family and friends and watching football on our 'Sunday Fundays'. I am so looking forward to the 2025-2026 school year and getting to know your sweet kiddos and all of you.
