Mrs. Slaughter

Hey there! My name is Alexis Slaughter and I am SO excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher! This will be my 7th year teaching and my 7th year at Shawnee Trail. I have previously taught kindergarten, 1st grade, and 4th grade, but my heart is with 3rd grade!

I grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2019 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education..ROLL TIDE!! I married my college sweetheart, Evan, in 2022. We have  2 daughters: Collins (2.5 years old) and Remy (10 months old). Our lives are filled with all things princess and pink!

Outside of school, I enjoy all things sports, cooking, shopping and traveling..and of course chasing Collins and Remy around!
