Welcome to Coleman's Crew! 

This is my 3rd year in second grade and my 7th teaching at Purefoy. After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017, I began my teaching career. I'm a Mississippi native and have lived in Texas since 2012.  

Living in six cities in Texas had me fall in love with the community and culture of this state. My husband, Blue, and I have settled into our forever home on a 40-acre farm outside of Sherman, Texas.  We are constantly learning as first-time farmers. We live here with our two huskies: Beau and Sky, an indoor cat named Kitty, and an outdoor cat named Ollie. Someday, we hope to raise more animals.

Two of my favorite things are traveling and spending time with family. As you can see from my pictures, above, we both come from big families. Combined, we have 6 siblings, 3 nieces, and 3 nephews. A few of my greatest adventures include skydiving in California, swimming with dolphins and snorkeling in Mexico, whitewater rafting in Montana, and ascending Pikes Peak in Colorado (via car).

On any given Saturday, you can find us at a local farmer's market, a farm to table restaurant, or enjoying sunrises and coffee on our porch. We enjoy getting to know the farmers in our community, and learning about their craft.

My favorite part of teaching is getting to know more about my students and building a lasting relationship. I cannot wait to get to know all of you this year.
