Hello Purefoy families! My name is Erin Grimes, and this is my second year at Purefoy Elementary! I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in Richardson ISD for 13 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.  I also taught preschool for 3 years at Rainbow Corner in Frisco. I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade again with my fabulous team!

I have been married to my husband, John, for 14 years, and we have three beautiful daughters -  Emma (10), Laurel (9), and Corinne (7) who attend Newman Elementary. When I am not teaching, John and I are busy driving the girls around to their extracurricular activities. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exercising, and exploring Frisco!

I am so blessed to be part of the Purefoy family! I can’t wait to meet my new 2nd graders and their families! It is going to be a great year!
