Hi, my name is Heather Upchurch, and I’m so excited for a new school year at Phillips! This will be my thirteenth year at Phillips and my twentieth year in Frisco ISD. I feel grateful to continue teaching third grade, a grade level I absolutely love.

I graduated from Texas Tech University. My husband and I have proudly called Frisco home for the last twenty-five years. We have two beautiful daughters, Makayla (19) and Mary (14). I am originally from a small West Texas town.

In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, playing with our dogs, and traveling. I look forward to a year full of learning, growth, and fun! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me throughout the year. I’m looking forward to a wonderful school year!
