Hi! My name is Layla Moon and I am so excited to start my 1st year here at Phillips! 1st grade is an amazing year to grow as readers, writers, leaders, and friends. My goal is to foster a love of learning and community within our classroom family. I graduated from the University of Texas Hook ’Em!, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This year is my 2nd year in education. Before joining the Phillips Phamily, I taught 2nd grade in Austin ISD. I’m looking forward to my 1st year here in Phillips! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy figure skating, trying out new restaurants and playing with my cat named Bella and a dog named Jjajang! I have been so looking forward to the start of school and cannot wait to spend this year teaching and caring for your child!
