My name is Maryann Morrison and this will be my sixth year teaching at Phillips! I have been a first grade teacher for four years, and also spent two years teaching second grade!

I was born and raised in Carrollton, Texas. I graduated from UNT in 2019. Prior to that, I attended Tyler Junior College. A fun fact about me is that I was a dancer for 20 years! I was even a dance teacher before I found my way into the classroom.

I'm married to my wonderful husband, Braden. We have a sweet pup named Weller. I truly believe first grade is a magical time. We have a great year ahead and I cannot wait to learn and grow alongside your child!
