Hello! My name is Christina Gibbs, and I have had the privilege of teaching at Phillips Elementary since 2017. Phillips has truly become my home away from home and one of my favorite places to be! After spending four wonderful years teaching third grade, I had the exciting opportunity to move to fifth grade. I absolutely love teaching fifth graders as they embrace leadership opportunities, create lifelong memories, and celebrate all of the special "lasts" that come with their final year of elementary school.

I was born in Minnesota, raised in Texas, and had the opportunity to live in several places while supporting my husband's career in the Marine Corps. After our adventures, we decided to make Texas our forever home. My husband and I are the proud parents of four amazing children Abigail, Clay, Kylar, and Lawton. When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me spending time outdoors, playing cards, reading a good book, or watching and playing sports.
