Welcome 3rd graders!  My name is Amber Daugherty, and I will be your Math, Science, and Social Studies in 3rd grade at Norris Elementary!  This is my 26th year in education and my 4th year at Norris!  I have taught in three other school districts: Ponder ISD, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Mansfield ISD.   I graduated from the University of North Texas in May 2000...Go Mean Green! 

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dustin, for almost 23 years!  I have four kids: Christian (29), Morgan and Megan (26 year old twins), and Austin (13).  We currently live in Denton. I have a cute Yorkiepoo named Cooper and three granddogs named Tex, Dallas, and Brisket.  

When I'm not in school, I love to practice my photography, go to Austin's ball games, and travel!  This summer we went to Seattle, WA as a family.  My daughter, Morgan, graduated college and got engaged!
