Welcome 3rd graders!  My name is Amber Daugherty, and I will be your Math, Science, and Social Studies in 3rd grade at Norris Elementary!  This is my 27th year in education and my 5th year at Norris!  I have taught in three other school districts: Ponder ISD, Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Mansfield ISD.   I graduated from the University of North Texas in May 2000...Go Mean Green! 

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dustin, for 23 years!  I have four kids: Christian, Morgan and Megan (twins), and Austin.  We currently live in Denton.  I have three granddogs named Tex, Dallas, and Brisket.  

When I'm not in school, I love to practice my photography, go to Austin's tennis matches, and travel!  This summer we went on a Caribbean cruise and had a blast! My daughter, Morgan, is getting married this November and my other daughter, Megan, just got engaged over the summer!
