Gracelyn Taylor

Hello Norris Families! My name is Gracelyn Taylor, and I am proud to be a Norris Elementary Knight. I am from Frisco, and I have attended Frisco ISD schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I graduated from Memorial High School, and then continued my education at The University of Texas at Dallas where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. During my time at UTD, I also played for the university's softball team (GO COMETS!). I am currently engaged, and I am so excited to be getting married this October. When I'm not teaching I love to do crafts, watch movies, bake, and spend time with my fiance, family, and friends.

For the past year I have been student teaching in a 3rd grade bilingual math and science classroom in Garland ISD. That experience taught me so much, and truly grew my passion for teaching young students even more. While I do miss my old students, I am so excited to be back in Frisco ISD, but this time as the teacher! I love teaching math and science, and I am excited to add social studies into the mix. I can't wait to teach your future leaders, doctors, engineers, teachers, scientists, artists, etc.
