Melissa Summers

Hello Norris Families! My name is Melissa Summers. I am thrilled to be a part of the Norris third grade team. This year is my fifth year here at Norris! I am originally from the DFW metroplex.  I earned my degree from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. I have previously taught in Garland and McKinney ISD. 

I am married and  have two beautiful daughters and two granddaughters. I am super excited about that!  I have two bichon poodle mixes, Tucker and Ted, and two mini Australian Shepherds, Chase and Parker.  I enjoy staying active outdoors, spending time with family and traveling.

I am looking forward to an awesome school year filled with lots of fun and lots of learning!
