Mrs. Hodges

My name is Amanda Hodges, and I’m thrilled to be teaching 1st grade this year. My family moved here from Katy, TX last August due to my husband ‘s job transfer. I'm a southern belle originally from Mississippi. I have been an educator for 16 years, teaching various grade levels from Kinder to 6th. I graduated from Jackson State University and obtained a master’s degree from Belhaven University. I have 3 amazing kids. Our oldest, Shani, is 23 and attends Texas State University.  Christopher is 21 and a junior at Angelo State and the baby of the family Londyn, will be heading to 9th grade at Richland High School. When I am not teaching, I love traveling the world, spending time with my family, and soaking up the sun at the beach.
