Welcome to 3rd Grade!

My name is Shannon Gonzalez, and I’m so excited to welcome you to an amazing year of learning and growth. I teach math, science, and social studies to both my homeroom and Ms. Esworthy’s homeroom classes. We’re going to explore so many new and exciting topics together, and I can’t wait to get started!

I am a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a specialization in Early Childhood Education, and I also hold a Master of Education from Dallas Baptist University. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching prekindergarten, second grade, and third grade.

I’ve lived in the Dallas area my whole life, with the last 23 years spent in Frisco. I share my life with a wonderful husband, our amazing daughter who is getting married in October, and our lovable husky-shepherd mix, Willow. 

I’m looking forward to a fun, engaging, and memorable year with all of you!
