Hello Gunstream Families!
My name is Leah Marrs, and I am so excited to be joining the 3rd grade team this year! I will be your childs homeroom teacher, where I will teach them Math, Science, and Social Studies. My partner teacher, Mrs. Gonzalez, will teach your child Reading, Writing, and Grammar.
I have been teaching at Gunstream the last 14 years, in 2nd grade! I grew up in Frisco my entire life, and attended school here from Pre-K-12th grade. I received my Bachelors degree in Education from the University of North Texas. I have lived in Prosper since 2013. I have an 8 year old son named Maverick, a 10 year old daughter named Scarlett, and a 12 year old son named Hudson. And a 4th furry 2 yr old named Ripley! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy being with my family, working out, and watching sports! This year I will be spending some time planning my upcoming wedding- summer of 2027!
I am excited to partner with you this school year!
