For Friday...Students will be creating a collection united by theme or shape.

Students will be finishing creating their ceramic sculptures based on current ceramic artists artwork, Block & Morling.
Week of March 28:
Students will be continuing to work on sculpture inspired by Block or Morling.
Week of March 14:
Students will finish trimming the bottom of their thrown vessels on Tuesday.
On Thursday, students will start a new ceramic sculpture based on the artwork of . We will be creating a "drawn" sculpture based on the artwork by Katharine Morling.

Students will be working on creating a fiber sculpture, a pet stuffed monster.
Students were told that if they wanted to bring specific fabrics, accessories, or incorporate an old piece of clothing(RECYCLE!) for their monster to please bring to class tomorrow!!! I will have fabric scraps and felt for the students to use.

Learning how to shade with the cross contour of an object with colored pencils and applying it to our figure drawings

Students will start figure drawing unit and drawing from direct observation.
Monday we will start with gestural figure drawings and getting proportions correct.

3. Click "Edit Site"
4. At the top left hand corner of the new opened window...
Click "Pages:Home" and choose "+Add Page" at the bottom of the menu
5. Then Click "Page - Add a New Page"
6. A new menu will pop up with your cursor on "New Page". Rename this new page to "Artist Research"
7. You now have a new page on your wix site!
8. Use the "Pages menu" to toggle between pages on your site.
9. Complete the following assignment on your "Artist Research" page

Students will add self-portrait to Mixed Media background and continue to add to the self-portrait using different mixed media techniques learned in class.
