NJHS Information

Students Eligible for NJHS will meet the following district standard criteria:

• The student is in 7th or 8th grade.

• The FALL semester grades for all core subjects will be averaged together to 94 or greater. ("lab classes" are not considered part of the core classes)

• For students that are enrolled in a GT or PAP class, 6 points will be added to their Semester average before averaging their core classes together.

• We also include students that are enrolled in Special Education classes.

• NJHS induction will be held in the Spring.
