My name is Delaney Abcarian, and I am super excited to start my 4th year here at Comstock! I graduated from Texas State University with my degree in Elementary and Special Education. In my free time I love to be outdoors, reading, and playing with my dog Finnegan.

Hello Comstock!

I am looking forward to my 24th year in the teaching profession. My experiences include teaching Pre-Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 5th grade, and Special Education/Resource for grades K-5th. I am thrilled to teach Resource at Comstock this school year! I love the excitement that the students bring every school year. I hope that each student in my classroom will develop positive self-esteem and a love for learning. It is an honor to do such an important job each day.

Hello, Comstock Families!

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the Comstock family and can't wait to see all the incredible things this year has in store.

Comstock holds a very special place in my heart. Both of my children attended Comstock for all of their elementary school years, so this campus has been home to our family for many years. This will also be my ninth year serving the Comstock community as an educator. I truly believe Comstock is an extraordinary school filled with amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. It is an honor to be part of this wonderful community.

Before becoming a Resource Teacher, I taught Health and Wellness here at Comstock. One of the greatest blessings of that role was getting to know every student in the school. Building strong relationships with my students has always been one of the most rewarding parts of teaching and is something I value deeply. Whether we've known each other for years or are just meeting for the first time, I look forward to getting to know your child and helping them have a successful year.

Before joining Comstock, I served as the Director of a local preschool in McKinney, where I discovered just how rewarding it is to help children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning from an early age.

Originally, I spent many of my younger adult years in sunny Southern California, where I developed my love for the outdoors, staying active, and living a healthy lifestyle. While there, I worked at Children's Hospital and earned my degree from San Diego State University—Go Aztecs!

I live in McKinney with my twins, Jake and McKenzie. Outside of school, you'll usually find me cheering them on at their activities, tackling DIY home improvement projects, gardening, crafting, staying active, or spending quality time with family and friends.

As an educator, I believe every child deserves to feel valued, encouraged, and capable of achieving great things. Building strong relationships with students and families is one of my greatest joys, and I consider it a privilege to partner with you in your child's educational journey.

Thank you for sharing your amazing children with me. I am excited for a year filled with learning, growth, laughter, and memorable experiences.

Hello, Comstock Family! 

My name is Amna Lodhi, and I am excited to be joining Comstock as a Resource Aide this year! While this is my first year in this role, I worked as a substitute teacher last year, and it confirmed my passion for working with students and helping them grow.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, trying new restaurants, and making memories together. I am grateful to be part of such a welcoming school community and look forward to getting to know all of the amazing students and families. I’m excited for a wonderful school year!

Hello Comstock!

My name is Rehab Elshami, and I am super excited to join the Comstock family this year!

I have been working at Frisco ISD for five years, and previously, I worked at a private school in Plano for 11 years. I was born in Egypt and earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in early childhood education at Alexandria University, Egypt. I currently live in Plano, and I have three kids. Two daughters: Salma is working in the business

field, and Xena, who is starting her first year of medical school at the University of Houston. My son, Zyad, is beginning his first year of college at Southern Methodist University! My kids make me a very proud mom. I love spending my free time with my family, shopping at my favorite stores, hanging out with my friends, and cooking. It is a privilege to work with your children this year. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

Hello!

My name is Sarah Johnson, and I am so excited to start my 2nd year here at Comstock! I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders in 2022, and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2025. I live in Mckinney with my husband Taylor, our dog, Sully, and cat, Luna. I love going on hikes and enjoy spending my free time with family and friends.

Hello! I am the Educational Diagnostician for Comstock. This is my 14th year in education. Prior to becoming a Diag, I taught as a Special Education teacher in various types of classrooms. I did my undergrad at Stephen F. Austin and got my masters from University of North Texas. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have 2 big dogs, a 5 year old, 2 year old, and 9 month old!
