Dyslexia

My name is Chrissy Boyd. I went to Angelo State University in San Angelo. This is my 24th year of teaching. I can’t believe how fast time flies. I have two children. I have a 20 year old named Blake, and a 15 year old named Briley. I stay busy at sports, and extra activities for the kids. I have two pets a cat named Luna, and a dog named Jack. I love teaching Dyslexia it is my dream job. I feel so lucky to be able to help students learn to read.

I received my undergraduate degree in Child Development from TWU and my Masters in Special Education with emphasis in Dyslexia from MSU. My teaching background includes special education grades K-5 and dyslexia. Before working in the classroom, I provided therapy services for babies ages birth - 3 years with ECI. My husband and I have an almost 6 year old son named Logan, as well as a German Shepherd named Stella.
