Mrs. Vardell

Hi, my name is Michelle Vardell, and I am so excited to be part of the JKC family! I have been part of JKC since it opened when my oldest was a kindergartener here and this is my fourth year to teach first grade at Comstock. Before becoming a mom, I taught kindergarten for three years in Richmond, Texas (SW suburb of Houston) and have subbed in both preschool and elementary school and taught Pre- Kindergarten. My husband, Jim, and I live around the corner in McKinney with our three boys, Joey, 18, Johnny, 15, and Matthew, 10. Joey is headed off to start college at Texas Tech this fall, Johnny will be a sophomore at Emerson and Matthew will be starting 5th grade at Wortham Intermediate. Our boys keep us super active, and we absolutely love it! When I am not cheering on my boys, I love to shop, run and meet friends for coffee.  I am looking forward to another wonderful year at Comstock!
