Mrs. Vardell

Hi, my name is Michelle Vardell, and I am so excited to be part of the JKC family! I have been part of JKC since it opened when my oldest was a kindergartener here and this is my fifth year to teach first grade at Comstock. Before becoming a mom, I taught kindergarten for three years in Richmond, Texas (SW suburb of Houston) and have subbed in both preschool and elementary school and taught Pre- Kindergarten. My husband, Jim, and I live around the corner in McKinney with our three boys, Joey, 19, Johnny, 16, and Matthew, 11. Joey is a sophomore at Texas Tech, Johnny will be a junior at Emerson, and Matthew will be starting 6th grade at Wortham Intermediate. Our boys keep us super active, and we absolutely love it! When I am not cheering on my boys, I love to shop, run and meet friends for coffee.  I am looking forward to another wonderful year at Comstock!
