Ms. Reynolds

Hi families! My name is Amelia Reynolds and I am so excited to work alongside you and your second grader this year! I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Elementary Education (woo pig!) in Spring 2023. I grew up in New England and moved to Pittsburgh, PA in middle school. My family moved to Frisco when I was in high school. I have a brother who will be entering 7th grade in Frisco ISD this year. I am very happy to be returning to the Carroll Community.

In March, I rescued Raleigh, my first ever puppy! Can you guess his breed? I spent most of this summer on walks, finding new dog parks, training, and finding all of the ways to burn his energy. The rescue process introduced me to my new life goal: adopting every dog in every shelter. For now, I am taking in every moment with Raleigh.

When I am not at school, you can find me reading, learning, finding a new show to watch, staying active, or spending time with family and friends. I love music, sweet treats, and anything spooky. 

As an educator, I believe that every student is capable of growth and I am dedicated to helping your student succeed. Our class will serve as a safe place for your students to grow into scholars and future-ready citizens. I hope that your student leaves my classroom with confidence, long-lasting friendships, and a love for learning. Teaching is my dream job and I strive to make everyday fun for your students. I look forward to working in a partnership with you all and to having the best year ever!
