My name is Layla McKinley. I am so excited for the 23-24 school year! This will be my 8th year in education. I've previously taught kindergarten for 5 years. This will be my 3rd year teaching 1st grade. I obtained my bachelor's degree at The University of North Texas in 2016, where I majored in interdisciplinary studies. In addition to bachelor's degree, I am also ESL certified.  Aside from my love for teaching, l enjoy spending time with family and friends. My husband and I have 2 amazing children, Brooke will be a 6th grader  this year, and Noah is very excited to start pre-k. I look forward to embarking on this journey with your family .
