Welcome to 1st Grade!

Hello Boals families, my name is Misty Morrison, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher. This will be my 18th year teaching, and my first year teaching 1st grade. I was born and raised in Texas, and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I’m also certified in English as a Second Language. 

I am married to my wonderful husband, Eric and we have 3 lovely daughters, Emily, Chloe, and Jacey.  Emily and Chloe attend Lone Star, and Jacey attend Trent.  

When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the gym with my husband, attending my daughters’ band events, relaxing with a massage or getting a mani/pedi. 

In my classroom, we are a family who build positive relationships, support each other, and motivate each other to do our best.  I can’t wait to watch your children flourish academically and personally this year!
