I am so excited to begin my 19th year teaching at Boals Elementary and can’t wait to meet another group of amazing first graders and their families!

I am originally from Ohio but made my way to Texas in 1999, where I began my education journey at Texas State University. I absolutely fell in love with the hill country, live Texas country music, and authentic Mexican food during my time in San Marcos. I also met my husband, Danny while attending Texas State and we have been enjoying this adventure together for the last 17 years!!

We were blessed with twin girls 12 years ago. Molly and Darcy have filled our life with double the fun and happiness each day. ❤️ They love being part of the wolfpack at Trent Middle School and dedicating a lot of time to softball and soccer…thier sports keep us extremely busy!

I enjoy cheering for the Houston Astros, playing with my puppy Koda, planning parties, decorating every room in our house, drinking Starbucks vanilla cold brew, and swimming with my family and friends in our pool!

I’m thrilled to build strong and supportive relationships with my students this year and have so much fun learning with them in first grade.
