Ready Position
Low position.
Feet shoulder width apart
Right foot forward
Knees over toes and forward
Weight equally distributed on insides of balls of feet.
Arms with slight bend out in front of knees.
Step to ball
Hips low and moving forward.
Keep ball inside the hips.
Always front the ball whenever possible.
Step into the path of ball whenever possible.
Move from low to high or up into the ball.
Sprawl
Land on abdominal area.
Avoid knees and elbows.
Reach to get under the ball.
Get back up to play the next ball.
