Handwriting
Our Kindergarten Handwriting Program is Handwriting Without Tears.
The program uses multi-sensory techniques and consistent habits for letter formation to teach handwriting to all students.
The vocabulary is consistent:
big line
little line
big curve
little curve
The teachers and children always use those exact words. For example, capital R is made with a big line, a little curve and a little line.
Capital letters are taught in the following groups:
Frog Jump (F,E,D,P,B,R,N,M)
Center Starter (C,O,Q,G,S,A,I,T,J)
Starter Corner (HK,L,U,V,W,X,Y,Z)
