U. S. History is an EOC required Course!
The state of Florida requires students to take the U.S. History EOC test in order to earn graduation credit for this class. The EOC is administered at a location determined by your county testing administrator (often your locally zoned high school); it usually takes a couple of hours to complete. While the exact test date varies, the testing generally starts May 1st. You will receive more information, including your test DATE/LOCATION, from the FLVS FT School testing Coordinator as the date approaches.
The U. S. history teachers have preparation tips for you:
1. Access this link for practice tests and review recordings through FLVS FLEX program: https://flvs.net/how-it-works/assessments/end-of-course-exams
2. VIEW/ATTEND our 4 live lesson review sessions: TBA
3. Visit the US history Help site EOC section for additional live lesson recordings and review information.
4. VIEW the EOC Information Meeting: Recording
5. Progress Learning Account to access EOC Practice tests: Access your progress learning account and complete EOC practice tests/review skills.
Completing this assessment is a requirement of BOTH the state of Florida and FLVS Full Time. These assessments impact graduation eligibility of all full time enrolled public school students, as this test represents 30% of the student’s grade in the course. It is imperative that the steps mentioned above are completed promptly.
Please read all correspondence from the FLVS FT testing team.
I know that you will use all of these helpful tools available to you!
