This can be a tricky assignment.  Let us break down for you what the directions are asking for:

HOW TO ***Start at the lesson reading-once you have read and done the note guide then follow assignment directions from the lesson reading. You will include 3 terms in each of your 3 paragraphs for 9 total vocabulary terms from the reading in your writing. All writing should be in your own words and paraphrased from the lesson. 

Social paragraph: One introductory sentence; one sentence on Black Codes; one sentence on KKK; separation of races or Jim Crow laws. Conclusion sentence connecting these laws to the 13th and 14th amendments.

Political paragraph: Introductory sentence. One sentence explaining poll taxes, one sentence explaining literacy tests, one explaining grandfather clauses. One summary sentence to conclude the paragraph CONNECTING voting restrictions to the 15th amendment.

Economic paragraph: One introductory sentence; one sentence on sharecropping; one sentence on great migration & Exodusters; One more on _(topic of your choice)___. Conclusion sentence connecting these challenges to Freedman and slavery. 

Make sure you are using your own wording when you write your paragraphs!

Please remember that some of these limitations may overlap in to the next! After you read the material and fill in the note guide attempt to
