The Colorado State Fair (CSF) Fiesta Committee is governed by a five-member Executive Board, which presents information and proposals for approval by the General Assembly. The General Assembly is composed of dedicated volunteer members who attend monthly meetings to plan, execute, and evaluate events aimed at celebrating and promoting Hispanic culture across Colorado. Guidelines regarding voting eligibility and participation incentives are available and can be discussed with any member of the Executive Board.
The Executive Board consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a Board Member At-Large, who is nominated from the General Assembly. Each position serves a one-year term, beginning November 1 and concluding October 31 of the following year. Elections for the Executive Board are held during the October Fiesta Committee meeting, with new officers assuming their roles on November 1.

Padrinos de Fiesta
The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee celebrated our 55th anniversary in 2022. We will never forget the original pioneers whose vision made Fiesta Day a reality. In addition to these founders, there are many long-term members who continue to make Fiesta Day the success it is today. These longtime members have given a lot of sweat and time to the Fiesta Committee and the community. Because of their sacrifices, we want to celebrate them so that their legacy is never lost in the committee’s endeavors and successes. We will refer to and honor these members as “Padrinos”. The Padrinos de Fiesta sub-committee is a group for members of the Fiesta Committee who by their demonstrated dedication, passion, and length of service, may be appointed as “emeritus” Fiesta Committee members.
Current Padrinos:
Ray Martinez - Member since 1977
Mary Lou Martinez - Member since 1977
