Friends Coming Together To Lend A Hand To Keep Our Public Access

Many Hands Make Light Work!

Founded April, 2012 and Growing!

A Division of Darrington Strong, Inc.

Friends For Public Use, a division of Darrington Strong, Inc., is a grassroots group of volunteers which started in Darrington, Washington. Our goal is through volunteer efforts to keep access to our public lands such as hiking trails, campgrounds, climbing routes and so much more. It is part of our mission to pass this American heritage to the next generation! What does it really mean to volunteer for something you truly believe in? It means making a commitment of your time and talents to bring positive change and live for a greater purpose! Live by example and volunteer today! It isn't just about working on projects. It also involves having a voice to keep our public lands accessible. FFPU volunteer hours are a testament that people do care about their access to their federal, state, county and municipal public lands. It is a message to our elected and bureaucratic officials that we want our public lands and we are willing to work together to keep this America legacy available now and for generation to come.

What would the world look like if we all gave a little bit of our time & cared just a little bit more to make something better? We would have a better world tomorrow! Please consider volunteering or donating to help us save our precious forest roads and access to our back country!
