Game Programing

You will be making a simple video game using Scratch. Probably the best way to use Scratch is to create an account at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/31876/

Another way is to use the Scratch program that is loaded on the Windows 10 computers. Look in programs to load the PC based software.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. Research simple game from the 80's. You know, like the games I played as a kid. Popular games were Asteroids, Defender, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pole Position (loved this in my youth) and many more.

2. Pick a old game or a unique game of you design.

3. Learn how to use Scratch by going to this site https://scratch.mit.edu/help/ The video tutorials are VERY helpful.

4. Build the game. If you are using the Windows program you will need to save and upload you file in your Google Drive. If you don't you will be starting over as there is no way to save to the computer's hard drive.
