Safety Test Procedures

Please read the following Shop Safety information below. You will be shown how to use each machine. You will need to pass a safety test prior to working in the Applied S.T.E.M. Lab. Please make sure when the machines are demonstrated and you have looked over the Safety information and ask questions if you are unclear.

All students that are to use the LASER cutter will need to view the video below:

Take the following safety tests

• • Band Saw

  • Drill Press

  • Belt and Disk sander

  • Lathe

  • Hand and Portable Hand Tools

  • Laser Cutter/Engraver

After each test is complete, you will be emailing it to me. Make sure your period and first/last name are in the boxes as well as casimirstem@gmail.com for the email address.

If you didn't get a 100% you will need to get the answer keys booklet from the self and double check all you answers to find the one(s) wrong. When you submit, fill out the info as show below. If you need to sent a third or more times please indicate REDO 2,3 or 4. PLEASE LET THE TEACHER KNOW IF IT IS A REDO 2 OR MORE SO I DON'T MISS YOUR TEST.
