WORK-BASED LEARNING and PARTNERSHIPS

Business and Industry partners are a crucial part of Work-based Learning.  These partners provide opportunities to learn more about industry through factory tours, job shadowing, externships, mock interviews, internships,  and apprenticeships.

Who are your partners?

TRPN Update

TRPN is a Tri-Agency Initiative bringing K-12 Education, Workforce, and Higher Ed together to better support students in their journey through high school and transitioning into workforce and post-secondary education.

Pathways prepare all students to succeed after high school and spur regional economic development by developing a strong talent pipeline aligned with regional industry needs. By seamlessly linking K–12 education, postsecondary education, and careers in high-wage, in-demand industries, pathways ensure that all students are ready for success after high school.

TRPN focuses around Seven Components

2022-2023 TRPN Grant partners are Region 14 ESC, Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board, Cisco College-Abilene, RenTech Boilers, USG-Sweetwater, Merkel ISD, Hawley ISD and Wylie ISD.
