156B Week 8
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
The three heater blocks have been machined and are ready for assembly.
The user interface is working but needs to be fine tuned before it can be used in experiments.
The gearbox and stirring mechanism for the ultrasonic bath are designed in SolidWorks. The parts will be cut with the lasercamm in the EBU2 design studio tomorrow evening.

Refine magnetic stirrer concept.
Design an ultrasonic prototype.

It was a good idea to make three separate heater blocks to keep the magnets from interfering with each other.
Professor Gillett is going to attempt contact with the project sponsor.
