TESTING AND RESULTS

The initial test conducted involved comparing the amount of gamma rays attenuated when the Digirad Camera Head is paired with the Collimator as opposed to that with (one rendition of) the Attenuating Screen. The results are displayed below in terms of gamma ray counts per second.

It must be noted that the attenuation percentage with the Attenuating Screen will vary for different screens.This variation would most likely depend on the amount and distribution of ball bearings.
