Conclusion: need to implement two pumps with this system to achieve 5GPM reliably

Verify RPM of motor (company provided specs may not be entirely accurate) and make sure pump is running at 4500 RPM
Action: verified RPM with Extech Laser Tachometer
Purchase 2 pumps to achieve needed flow rate

Can try motor driver and write short code to alter PWM
Slider crank assembly
Can implement power grips on bike pedals to increase pull from rider on uptake stroke
Determine where is best to place pump: set on ground vs. mount on bike

Potential issue= not always being able to get close to a water source while pumping
Have CAD to document all designs and have material to present to sponsor at end of quarter
Provide sponsor with cost estimates and manufacturer info regarding parts that can be bought in bulk
