Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Stand design is effectively finalized. A mechanism for raising the table top has been designed. There are still a few decisions to be made but it is nearly ready.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Created new design for raising the table that avoids the problem of over constraining the system.
Completed structural analysis of Trespa table top.
Completed Design Review presentation.
Ordered Trespa.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Order remaining components (All)
Discuss bevel gear vs wheel raising system options with sponsor (see CAD files/design presentation) (All)

Risks and Areas of Concern
The method for turning the lead screw that raises the table still needs to be finalized. Currently we have two options, using a wheel to turn the shaft or a bevel gear system.
