Design Process

Initial Proposal:

The proposed design is to work with following main components: an upper cuff connected to the calf, a shoe base to protect feet, a suspension system to connect the two, and an exoskeleton to connect all the parts.

Elastic Web Concept:

Our first concept consisted of an elastic band that would wrap around the front of the cuff. The band would be clamped on the back side of the exoskeleton so that the exoskeleton would provide the support necessary for the bands.
