Language Arts mission statement is to instill a love of literature, acknowledging the necessity of correct grammar and the mechanics of writing, ensuring appropriate writing skills, spelling and improving standardized testing skills. The subjects that will be taught to build a quality foundation are: reading, writing, grammar, spelling, literature, and composition. Oh, and of course, some penmanship for quality. Hopefully to develop the student's comprehension and capacity for use of written and oral language. It is essential for everyday life and every career field to have quality social and communication skills as a prerequisite to be successful in life. It is also our mission to have fun and to enjoy this journey of learning.

We use Language arts as a vehicle of communication to build thoughts, ideas, to share, to work and to live. Then through Language Arts, we will learn to integrate, to appreciate, and to apply what is learned in our everyday lives and for the real purposes in our work areas, communities, homes, and schools.
