Welcome to 5th Grade!

LBCS 5^th Grade School Supply List

2019-2020

Individual Supplies:

1 – 1 ½” Binder

1 - Binder Divider Tabs (5 tabs; Please leave tabs blank!)

5 – Composition Notebooks (the bound type; Please do not label!)

1 - Pencil Bag or Case (standard size; no jumbo cases, please)

#2 Standard Pencils (non-sticker finish; Ticonderoga® or Dixon®)…

or Mechanical Pencils. **Lead for mechanical pencils will not be provided.

Please use 0.7 mm lead thickness for better visibility and to prevent

breakage.

1 - Dry Erase Marker (darker color, like black, blue, or purple)

1 – Cotton Sock (to use as an eraser on mini whiteboards. Old socks work great! )

1 – Highlighter

1 - Large Pink Eraser

2 – Large Glue Sticks

1 - Colored Pencil Set (box of 12 is good)

1 - Handheld Pencil Sharpener with a Trap for Shavings (for colored pencils)

**Markers are optional, but not needed.

Please supply the following for your student’s classroom:

1 - Package Wide-Ruled, Lined Paper

1 - Box Unscented Facial Tissues

1 - Package of White Copy Paper

1 – Container of Sanitizing Wipes (such as Clorox® or Lysol®; for desks)

1 – Box of Bandages (such as Band-Aid® ; non-latex)

1 - Roll of Paper Towels

1 – Bottle of Hand Sanitizer
