The Video Clip Lectures (VCL) available in this section are recordings of slide presentations filmed either in front of a live or online audience or after giving those lectures in order to improve the quality of the recorded sound.

These lectures explain the radical thinking of the New School Polymer Physics about the interactions between macromolecules, their entanglement when the molecular weight increases, and of its consequences on their behavior below Tg and Tm in the glassy and solid state, above Tg in the rubbery state, and in the melt. The new concepts redefine the statistical units of the interactions which are no longer the single macromolecules and, more generally, provide a new understanding and formulation of the physics of polymers.

The VCL are posted with a reference index which is not necessarily indicative of the order in which they should be viewed since they are to a large extent independent unless marked with a part number (part 1, 2 etc.). Hence some of the slides come up several times in many VCLs, but always in a different context related to a specific lecture.

Each VCL comes with a short abstract of the content, sometimes introduced by a short video or an audio file. The total recorded time to view all the classes amounts to over 100 hours, but approximately 20 classes are first presented, representing the core of the teaching (40 hours). Many of the other "missing" VCLs are dedicated to specific polymers or to the teaching of the use of the new formulae and how to apply them for data analysis. Some of the VCLs teach the engineering know-how to practice the applications derived from these new concepts in polymer science and are only available to our partners (inquire at Choy@eknetcampus.com or Fax @ +1 (203 793 25 00).

The VCL can be downloaded separately: inquire at: newschoolpolymerphysics@gmail.com, Attn: Dr. A. Beltzeki. a secure link will be activated to permit the download of the corresponding video lecture. Click on "Sitemap" in the Navigation sidebar box of this page to access the various VCL pages and secure downloadable links.

Alternatively, the collection of VCLs listed in the Sitemap can be accessed as a FLASHDRIVE which is shipped to the shipping address indicated during registration. The FLASHDRIVE also includes the book by J.P. Ibar in pdf format "The Physics of Polymer Interactions: a Novel Approach. Application to Rheology and processing", HANSER (2019) described on the site "Books and Essays". This option is activated by clicking on Link to the FLASHDRIVE

Another option is to download the bundle of all the files included in the FLASHDRIVE (the VCLs and the Book). This option is activated by clicking on the link below: please write at :newschoolpolymerphysics@gmail.com, attn: Dr. A. Beltzeki.
