Classwork Directions

Student Teaching

    1. Record your presentation: The video must show your PowerPoint & yourself as you're teaching the lesson.

    2. Use the two documents "How to Edit Recorded Video" & "How to record Media content using OBS" for directions

    3. The presentation must include an additional video of less than 5 min within your presentation.

    4. The presentation must be at least 15 minutes long.

  1. Students must include worksheets/activities with answer keys.

    1. Students must fill out a lesson plan: "Student Teaching Lesson Plan".

Poster

    1. Original picture(s)

    2. Original text describing topic

Podcast

    1. Interview style

    2. Interviewed is spoken as if you were the person

    3. Length 2-5 minutes long

    4. Choose one of the following for podcast:

Model

    1. Must be made and designed by the student not bought or a kit.

    2. A short historical write up about the historical significance of the model chosen. Will be graded according to historical accuracy and grammar.

    3. Model (Physical): Graded based on quality and how close it represents the original.

Drama

    1. Topic is chosen by Teacher about Imperialism

    2. Students must write script, make own props, wear costumes, and perform.

    3. Performance should be at least 5-10 minutes long.

Propaganda Poster

    1. Original picture(s)

    2. Original text of persuasion

Peace Treaty

    1. Create your own version of the Versailles Peace Treaty.

    2. Must include gains or losses for all major countries involved in the war.

    3. The terms of the treaty must be clearly stated and fair.

War Letter

    1. Write the one-page letter using real events and places during the war.

    2. One letter for World War I & one for World War II.
