Course Description:
This course is a comprehensive study of World Geography. Students are familiarized with the world using the five geographic themes, developing knowledge regarding location, place, human-environmental interaction, movement, and regions. The class aims to develop critical thinking and writing skills covering the interaction and principles from history, economics, civics, and the humanities. Various instructional approaches are used including lectures, student presentations, game creation, model building, creating podcasts, advertisements, etc.
