Seventh-grade language arts students will be using Power Writing. Power Writing is a method of writing designed to improve students' writing by creating a framework or structure.
Students will use this format when writing their weekly journals, answering extended response questions, and writing essays throughout the school year. This method is based on three numbers.
1 = topic / main idea
2 = supporting ideas
3 = details
