Students will get an AR (Accelerated Reader) Goal each nine weeks.  The AR goal will be a grade in the grade book.  For example, if the goal is 10 AR points and a student earns 5 AR points they would get a 5/10 or 50% in the grade book.  Students that earn over their goal can roll the extra points over to the next nine weeks.

Students can borrow books from my classroom library as well as the school library.  Students can also read books from home or other sources.  To check out and return books from my classroom library go to Booksource to do so.  Log in with the following,

Students will then find their class and name and use their lunch number to log in.

Students can also get a FREE temporary library card through the Guernsey County Library and checkout ebooks and audiobooks right to their computer or phone.  Click on this link to learn more.

To check to see if a book has an AR Quiz you can check at arbookfind.com   Students will have some time to read in class daily.  They can also reading during experience and intervention time.
