Peer Tutor Program

The Peer Tutor Program is a service available to EGHS students seeking assistance with their assignments, assessments, and/or study habits.  A student requesting services is matched with a qualified student and is scheduled to meet once a week for academic support. Peer Tutor requests will be honored for the duration of the semester. Students are expected to fulfill this obligation (to meet with the tutor for the entire semester) unless notified otherwise. If a student wishes to continue into the next semester, notification is required and every effort will be made to accommodate this request.

To request a peer tutor, please click on the link and complete the form. (Students must be logged into their egsd.net account.)

Tutoring assignments depend on the availability of tutors in specific subject areas. Allow 1 week for tutoring assignments to be filled. You will receive a notice via email or text. Instructors, Advisors and Guidance Counselors may be notified of the tutoring assignment. The Peer Tutor Program is managed by the National Honor Society. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Lenox.

All Juniors or Seniors (NHS members and others) who would like to participate as a tutor in the Peer Tutor Program need to complete this form:
