Hello, I am Charles Lopez and I am the Band Director at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Edison New Jersey. I am a graduate of Edison High School and Montclair State University. I began teaching in Edison in 2004 and served as the Band Director at Lincoln Elementary and Ben Franklin Elementary School from 2004-2021.

I live in Metuchen New Jersey with my wife Lauren and my two children, Elizabeth and Jonah.  In my spare time, I run the Janice Lopez Ovarian Cancer Foundation with my family in memory of my mother. You can find information on the foundation at www.jlocf.org.  I have also been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1994.
