Student Testimonial
Band and Chorus are amazing things to be apart of. Both of these have given me amazing opportunities to learn new things, meet new people, and enjoy what I'm doing! I know both of these places are safe spaces, they have really helped me grow into who I am today. Both of these teachers also know how to make it fun, but also learn new things. - Kelsey D
I would say that Chorus and Band is a great way to meet people, express yourself, learn new stuff about music, and experiment with your voice. Chorus or Band could start a future career and it will bring out the best of who you are! It's was definitely worth it to be apart of Chorus and auditioning for Blue Notes.

I have done band and chorus and have really enjoyed both. I could not thank these teachers anymore, they were hands down 2 of the kindest and most helpful teachers in the whole school. - Luke W.
I enjoy chorus because it’s really fun to learn new music and perform it during the school year! When joining chorus you get to grow over the years which is fun to reflect on in your final year of middle school!

I did band and chorus every year in middle school and I really enjoyed it because you get to learn a lot of new skills, such as playing an instrument or learning how to sing a song in a different language. Band and chorus are also a good way to challenge yourself. Overall, these two classes are just a great opportunity that you shouldn't miss in your middle school years.

I love middle school chorus and I encourage you to join. You will get to sing fun and interesting songs with multiple voice parts. You will also learn different warm-ups and how to read music. It doesn't matter how experienced you are with singing or how good you think you are at singing because chorus is for everyone.
